Job Description:
A company is looking for a Government Affairs Specialist to
shape its government affairs strategy in energy-related policy
areas.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute long-term strategies to influence public
policy
Draft legislation and prepare issue-specific talking points
Conduct substantive lobbying efforts at all levels of
government
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a lobbyist at the state level
Direct experience with the Mid-Atlantic and New England Region
Experience with state legislatures or public utility
commissions
Minimum of 5+ years in government affairs or public policy,
focusing on energy policy
Bachelor's degree required; JD/Law degree preferred but not
required
