Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Certified Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit team. This role requires a passionate professional with a strong background in veterinary care and the ability to lead and support our talented team. The ideal candidate will contribute to our practice's growth, support team development, and deliver outstanding care to our clients and their beloved pets. Key Responsibilities: Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters. Administer medications via oral, ocular, injectable, and topical methods. Manage pre-operative and post-operative care and hospitalization. Assist in surgeries and monitor anesthesia. Provide dental care including scaling, cleaning, polishing, imaging, and assist in extractions. Conduct laser therapy and radiology procedures. Perform ultrasound examinations and process laboratory samples. Educate clients on pet health and wellness. Manage inventory control and technician appointments. Ensure cleanliness and stocking of the clinic. Efficiently work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent communication skills. Qualifications: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with 2-3 years of full-time experience. Proven ability to lead and support a veterinary team. Proficiency in all listed duties and the use of advanced veterinary equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a family-style practice environment.
